CNN Devotes All-Day Coverage to First World Autism Awareness Day

Online as well as on its television affiliates, CNN will report on science, intervention, treatments and resources available for those living with autism for the first international awareness day on Wednesday, April 2.

Preceding the World Autism Awareness Day coverage, chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta will devote the full broadcast of House Call with Dr. Sanjay Gupta to the latest medical thinking about early signs of autism on March 29 and 30. Dr. Gupta will also feature autism in his CNN.com blog and podcast.

Also on March 29, personal finance editor Gerri Willis will offer advice for coping with the financial toll of autism on Open House.

Viewers can share their own experiences by creating an account on the network’s www.iReport.com.
